SGIBD is a not-for-profit professional society registered with the Registry of Societies of Singapore on 25 June 2026. We are governed by our constitution, adopted by our founding members, and by a Governance Charter that sets out our operating policies.
Integrity matters to us, particularly in our relationships with industry. Our Governance Charter includes a Conflict-of-Interest Policy, an Industry Relationships Policy, and a Code of Conduct. Corporate partners support the Society’s work but have no influence over its clinical guidelines, scientific programme, or publications. In this way we can welcome industry collaboration while protecting the independence and credibility of everything we publish.
